What’s Happening In Palestine? Here’s a quick glimpse of what’s really happening on social media
Millions of people on social media stands for Palestine after watching the destruction caused by Israeli missiles.
It all happened during the holy month of Ramadan on the night of April 13. A squad of brutal Israeli police officers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, brushed the Palestinians aside and strode across the limestone courtyard. This was the when many innocents were praying inside the mosque. Israeli police had entered inside the mosque and cut the cables to the loudspeakers that broadcast prayers to the faithful from four medieval minarets.
April 13 was also Memorial Day in Israel, which honors those who died fighting for their country. Moreover, the Israeli president ‘Reuven Rivlin’ was delivering a speech at the Western Wall, a sacred Jewish site that lies below the Al Aqsa mosque, and Israeli officials were scared that the prayers would drown it out.
Moreover, this incident was confirmed by the mosque officials, six of them who confirmed the incident and three of whom witnessed it; the Israeli police declined to speak. And in many portals, it barely registered.
This was the real scenario, the police raid on the Al-Aqsa mosque, one of the holiest sites in Islam, was one of several actions that led, less than a month of ramadan, to the sudden resumption of war between Israel and Hamas.

Playback singer, Rayna Zamel posted yesterday “These are the people getting bombed by Israel “until they burn and there’s complete quiet’” (the words of Israel’s defense minister one day before the bombings) in the world’s biggest open-prison and one of the most densely populated areas on earth.”
Journalist ‘Ayesha Binte Rashid’, AKA ‘Balancingbinte’ posted “I’d say this is for the Palestinian children, but it’s really not. What is this going to do for them? This is just a desperate need to express myself, a selfish prayer that the suffering would end just so I can sleep again at night.”
The violence happening in Israel and Palestine is still going on. Moreover, the destruction on the Palestinian side, is massive as compared to Israel. Millions of users on the internet are rallying with Palestine and doing their bit to send help to them.
