It is one of the leading companies developing electric cars and plug-in hybrids, with even the aforementioned Q7 and R8 – probably the least likely candidates for electrification – having e-tron versions in development. Know more.

The Quattro all-wheel drive was a valuable feature for the potential owners. The Audi’s lack of handling dynamics, even on the sportiest versions is a bad part. The only car that impresses me with the handling is the Audi R8. But as BMW loses its edge in the sports sedan world, Audi keeps bringing new innovations along with luxury interiors. Moreover, for many people out there in the world, Audi is still viewed as just an upscale Volkswagen-car.

BMW is famous for its Vision M Next Model

The BMW Vision M Next is made for those who don’t want to give up driving in future. This is the only drive-able car by BMW which would just give you a A+ feel when you drive up this beast on roads. Moreover, the concept has been introduced and has added up many new and cool features that includes-

Now what I’ve liked the most in this car is the steering. No matter what, the steering is just too futuristic. The dashboard of this car is just like the dashboard from the car of the ‘Men in Black’. I don’t have words to describe the interior of the Vision M Next.

Even cooler part of this car is that is doesn’t have door handles. You can open the doors by just clicking on a touchscreen sensor; which is just right behind the door’s window. Once you click that button, you can lift up the doors of the car just like the BMW i8. It’s pretty awesome. Know more.

What should you Go For; Mercedes vs BMW vs Audi?

The 3 brands have become more homogenous as they’ve grown their product lineups, and that’s not a good thing. Each has its own set of unique qualities designed to attract individual luxury customers.

Moreover, Audi was all about all-wheel drive. Now BMW and Mercedes offer all-wheel drive on most models, which is a necessity for rear-wheel-drive luxury cars sold in northern states. BMW led in driving dynamics. That’s no longer the case. The latest BMWs aren’t bad cars, but the brand can’t legitimately claim to be “The Ultimate Driving Machine” for each segment it’s in. Mercedes offered a certain level of quality and workmanship not found in the other German luxury automobiles.

Conclusion:

The gap has substantially narrowed and in some cases, Mercedes has lost its advantage. Though I’ would give the BMW Vision M Next and the Mercedes AMG a slight dynamic edge to the Audi e-tron, this is splitting hairs. They are now very similar, especially to the average buyer. Just run the numbers between all three on their configurators and pick the cheapest, which is a disappointing way to make a choice in the luxury segments. Know more by AutomobileMag.

That may be good for short- and medium-term sales, but what about the long run?

The brands have become more homogenous as they’ve grown their product lineups. Audi was all about 4-wheel drive. Now BMW and Mercedes offer 4-wheel drive too on most of their models.
