Cities where the retail leasing solution will be provided

Orix is a wholly owned subsidiary of Orix Corporation which is based in Japan. Moreover, Orix and Volkswagen has collaborated to provide a retail leasing solution, which will initially be offered in six cities-

  • Delhi
  • Mumbai
  • Pune
  • Chennai
  • Hyderabad
  • Bengaluru

The program is expected to be extended to other cities as well.

Insurance to be included in the Retail Leasing Solution

This collaboration includes a retail leasing solution which will also include the insurance

  • Volkswagen’s 4EVER Care program
  • Four-year standard warranty & RSA
  • Vehicle registration

The Volkswagen customers will also get the choice for the leasing solution with or without maintenance, depending upon their requirements.

Pricing for the monthly lease rental

The monthly lease rental for the Volkswagen model will cost you INR. 17,647 and also supports the start-up entrepreneurs, corporate professionals MSMEs, salaried individuals. As for the time period, customers can avail the leasing offer for a minimum of two-years and to a maximum period of four years.

What does the signing of MoU means?

The signing of the MoU and collaboration between the two companies means that Orix Auto Infra will be able to provide a rather large variety of models to lease including Honda, Jeep, and Skoda.

Volkswagen to introduce BS-VI compliant versions

Volkswagen automobiles is planning for upgrading its current range for the BS-VI compliance. Moreover, Volkswagen is going to introduce a new variant of the Polo hatchback with a 1.0-litre TSI and for the Vento sedan in India in the near future. Also, there are plans to introduce a new SUV model in early 2021 that will be a product spun off as part of the new India 2.0 project.
