The UV segment in the Indian market has overtaken the car makers and also the sales for the same have been going up from the past. In addition, we also know the new platforms that the car makers are using for their 5 and 7 seaters. We have the same case with the 2019 Tata Harrier which will see its 7 seater version with a different design soon. The car competes against the likes of MG Hector, Hyundai Creta, etc.
Tata Harrier 7 Seater Buzzard
The Tata Harrier 7 Seater is also known as the Buzzard in global markets. Moreover, it also shares the same platform as its younger sibling.
Design of the Tata Harrier Buzzard
The front fascia of the car is completely inspired by the Harrier and on the rear side, you can see the change. Moreover, to accomodate the headroom for the third room passengers, the sloping roofline is gone. However, the taillight design has changed and the 18-inch alloy wheels carry the same design as shown in the Geneva Motor Show.
The 7-seater version of the Tata Harrier will see the same interior design and would also feature a 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. It also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, a power-adjustable sunroof can be seen on the top-end trim but not as an official accessory.
Dimensions of the Tata Harrier Buzzard
Talking about the dimension of the Tata Harrier Buzzard, the car remains unchanged except for the length and height. Moreover, the SUV will become longer by 63 mm and taller by 80 mm just to accomodate the third row of seats. And the last bench will also come with 12V charging socket and dedicated AC vents.

Tata Harrier Buzzard Engine
The Harrier will power a BS6 compliant FCA sourced diesel engine with Variable-Geometry Turbocharger. Furthermore, the power output will be increased by 30 bhp and would stick to a whopping 170 bhp and 350Nm of Peak torque. The transmission options will include-
- 6-speed manual gearbox
- And a hyundai sourced 6-speed automatic torque converter unit.
