Tata motors have confirmed that the Altroz will launch on January 22, 2020. Along with that it has also confirmed that the deliveries will start from Mid-February.

Tata Altroz Overview
The Tata Altroz premium hatchback is going to be launched on January 22, 2020 as said by the company. All pricing details including the detailed price break up of all the variants of the Altroz is going to be revealed on the same day. Moreover, bookings for the Altroz will start on mid-february 2020 across all Tata dealerships just for a token of Rs 25,000. As per the bookings that the Tata Motors have been received so far, it is the petrol powered variant of the Altroz that has gathered more interest of its customers.

Engine options available in Tata Altroz
You’ll get two engine options in the car, the third one could come later. However, the Altroz will come with BS-6 compliant 1.2 Litre petrol and 1.5 Litre diesel engines, and that too is a big news in itself. Moreover, the petrol engine produces over 113 Nm of peak torque and a whopping 86 BHP. While, the diesel engine will develops over 200 Nm of peak torque and 90 BHP.

The third engine that will come in the future will get a 1.2 Litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol unit inspired from the Tata Nexon that can produce over 100 BHP. Furthermore, a 5-speed manual gearbox is going to come as a standard initially and could get a DCT gearbox as well.
