The Audi Q7 Black Edition has been already launched in India. Now, the Black doesn’t mean that this car is going to have a Vantablack color or would look like the Tata Harrier Dark Edition, obviously we aren’t comparing the Q7 to the Tata Harrier. But, the name ‘Black Edition’ in the Q7 suggests a dark theme for the car and gets blacked-out elements in the exterior. However, the production of this car is limited to 100 units only. Moreover, this car competes against the likes of the new BMW X5. Now, lets discuss more about the Black Edition Audi Q7.

The design of the new Audi Q7 Black Edition includes blacked-out elements in the exterior. However, this new car is no different from the Q7 technology trim which is the range-topping version of the standard line. The design of this car is simple and elegant, yet looks absolutely gorgeous.

From inside, the Black Edition Audi Q7 is no different from the Q7 Technology variant, which is the range-topping version of the standard line. The car gets high-end features and a spacious cabin. Overall, the Black Edition remains identical to the regular Q7 and mechanically unchanged too.

From outside, the Black Edition Audi Q7 gets exclusive blacked-out elements. Moreover, the slats and the grille frame gets a Glossy Titanium Black finish, the door trim strips feature Titan Black Gloss which comes with quattro embossing, the windows and roof-line gets a High Gloss Black finish moldings and Titanium Black Matt on the rear diffuser. In addition, the black treatment on the roof trails and the alloy wheels completes the overall look of the Q7. Moreover, it adorns a black stylish package which looks a bit familiar to what we have seen on the Audi SQ7.

Audi Q7 Black Edition Engine

The Black Edition Audi Q7 continues to get the same 2.0-litre petrol and 3.0-litre diesel engine options.Moreover, the 2.0-litre petrol churns out over 248 bhp and 370 Nm of peak torque and the 3.0-litre churns out over 245 bhp and 600 Nm of peak torque. The Audi Q7 Black Edition has been priced in India at Rs. 82.15 lakh for the 45 TFSI petrol variant and Rs. 86.30 lakh for the 45 TDI diesel variant.
