2019 Volkswagen Vento and Polo Design
Talking about the design of the newly launched Volkswagen vehicles; The 2019 Volkswagen Polo and Vento facelift from the outside comes with new front and rear bumper design that’s been inspired from the GTI.
Moreover, the newly launched cars gets the same silhouette like before and also gets a new grey finish to the 16-inch alloy wheels. The tweaked taillights just adds another beauty element to the Vento and the Polo. In addition, a new red colour is now available with the car called as ‘Sunset Red’.
The 2019 Volkswagen Vento competes against the likes of the Honda City, Swift Dzire, etc. On the other hand, the Polo competes against the likes of the Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, etc.
The 2019 Volkswagen Vento Facelift gets honeycomb mesh grille on the front. Also it follows the same two-tone alloy wheels and it receives black trim on the lower bumper. Moreover, the Vento takes inspiration from the newly launched Cup editions.

The safety features in the newly launched facelift vehicles includes-

The trim above Highline now gets the Volkswagen Connect feature. It’s meant to give you the location of your vehicle, your daily driving pattern and it’s supposed to help you in emergency conditions.
2019 Volkswagen Vento and Polo Engine
The transmission option sticks to 5-speed manual transmission. The Polo comes with 1.0L petrol motor which produces over 75bhp and 96Nm of torque. However, the Vento continues to sport the 1.6-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor which produces over 105 bhp and 153 Nm of peak torque.
In addition, the Volkswagen Polo GT TSI continues to stick to BS4 emission norms which produces over 103bhp and 175Nm of peak torque. Moreover, Vento uses this same engine in the automatic trim which comes mated to 7-speed DSG transmission.

The base trim of the Vento would cost you Rs. 8.76Lakhs, while the base variant of the Polo facelift would cost you Rs. 5.82Lakhs in India.
