2019 Honda City BS-VI Petrol Compliant Overview
The Honda Motors India has finally launched the BS-VI compliant petrol version of its model- City in India today. As of now, Honda has only introduced the BS-6 petrol variant of the city, however the diesel version is also going to launch soon. This makes the Honda City the first mid-size sedan in its segment to begin sales for the BS6 version and the third BS-6 compliant model in the company’s lineup after the Honda Civic and the Honda CR-V.
The Honda City is currently in its fourth gen and still it has got brand new styling and new interiors as well with much more features.
Features of the 2019 Honda City BS-VI Compliant Version
Talking about the features, many changes have been made in the new Honda City included the upgraded infotainment system. Now, the car comes with Digipad 2.0- which is an advanced infotainment system, in the V, VX and ZX variants.

Price Comparison Between The BS-IV and the BS-VI Compliant Honda City
In comparison, the ex-showroom prices of the BS-IV compliant Honda City used to fall in the range of Rs. 9.81L to Rs. 14.18L for the petrol models. So there is an average price hike of about Rs. 10,000- to Rs. 15,000 in each variant of the Honda City.
The 1.5L, V4 petrol engine in the City produces a whopping 119 bhp and Honda continues to offer both CVT and the manual gearbox options with the petrol engine. As of now, the 1.5 liter petrol engine is the only BS-VI compliant petrol engine in Honda’s lineup. However, the Honda’s 1.2 liter petrol engine and 1.5 liter diesel will also soon get upgraded to meet the same norms.
